The King Of Pop Is Back

Impersonators, especially those who choose some of the world’s finest entertainers as their act, help keep the past alive. They undergo intense training, often self-initiated, in order to have the ability to have their character down to their mannerisms. The character’s appearance, speech, and even dance moves are all a part of the package. Dedication, perseverance, and motivation are the most important factors for impersonators. The most famous person that is the most impersonated is Elvis Presley. He was an icon and changed his culture. But there was one other person who did the same, albeit in a different time period. That person, of course, was Michael Jackson.

The number of persons who impersonate Michael reach far into the thousands range. Being able to look like him comes down to make-up and wardrobe, but having the ability to dance like him take another level of dedication to get down. That’s why Sergio Cortes, or better known as the impersonator of Michael Jackson, is known as the best. When it comes to the looks, moves, sounds, and overall feel, there are many times he is mistaken as the real Michael Jackson.

Growing up, Sergio already had the look of Michael Jackson. He had the defined jaw line, skin tone, and same shaped eyes. The similarities were so close that he was used for photo shoots that were passed of as the real Michael Jackson. After realizing he had more than just the looks, he began study the movements and voice pattern of Michael in order to keep his memory alive. He began performing and building a fan base that includes a Facebook page with other 9,000 likes. He has multiple videos on YouTube that received tens of thousands of views. There are even other users that have uploaded his video to spread the word.

In 2009, Sergio began to take the career seriously and unleashed his years of hard work into the world. He quickly rose in popularity due to his uncanny ability to impersonate the King of Pop. With little improvement to make and much room to grow as an icon, Sergio is single handily keeping the memory of Michael Jackson alive. There’s no telling where this will go since he’s already the most famous and best impersonator of Michael Jackson. The only sure thing is that Sergio’s hard word and dedication has helped him make a career out of being his own version of the King of Pop.

Sergio Cortes Nails Michael Jackson Impersonation

Impersonating a celebrity is no easy task and to most is considered a form of art due to how difficult it is to achieve. The ability to copy an individual’s walk, talk, and other various skills requires hard work and a great deal of time, especially when it is someone as famous as Michael Jackson. Sergio Cortes, who also goes by the name Sergio Jackson has completely mastered his impersonation of the moonwalking “King of Pop” who changed music around the world. Cortes gained a high level of popularity in his home country of Brazil when his singing performances and dance style was so similar to Michael Jackson’s that people praised his authenticity. He captures the energetic essence of one of the greatest entertainers that has ever existed.

Cortes’s voice matches the pitch perfect tone that Jackson himself practiced repeatedly and his dress and style are a match to what you would expect from the deceased legend. Whether watching Cortes live or in one of his many youtube videos, you can see the immense talent and dedication he has put into recreating the performances that many longed to see when Jackson was alive. As an employee of Destiny Projects, which specializes in managing artistic development, he is deemed one of the best Michael Jackson impersonators to ever exist. Spectators have reported that if you could compare the two side-by-side today, they would look nearly identical and they could easily be confused for the other.

Cortes hit the spotlight in 2012 when he performed on a tribute show in Madrid. Not only has he been able to flawlessly recreate Jackson’s hits and the choreography that went along with each song, but he has also recreated music videos. His success has not been easy though, as Cortes starting impersonating the singer at a very young age. It has taken many years for him to get to where he is at in terms of ability to impersonate accurately. Through continuous molding and altering his looks to match Jackson’s, Sergio Cortes is nearly indistinguishable. Most recently, Cortes has performed on American Idol and various other television shows throughout the world.

Cortes continues to mesmerize people through his performances and videos. Many are hoping for a tour to be arranged in order to impact the world and show individuals that Michael is still “here” in a tributing way. He places his responsibility on keeping the memories of Michael Jackson alive.

Brian Mulligan Goes From High School Musicals To Opera Star

The path to opera star is not one that is well known by members of the public, but the inspiring story of baritone Brian Mulligan may just inspire some more U.S. based children to strike out into the world of opera. Mulligan is now one of the top voices in the opera world from his base in San Francisco and has recently been achieving critical acclaim for his performance as former U.S. President Richard Nixon in the modern opera Nixon In China. Unlike many who take to the opera stage, Mulligan had little knowledge of the art form until he was introduced to it as a teenager by a high school teacher and vocal coach.

Mulligan’s performance in Nixon In China has taken him many years to perfect and shows off the acting skills that are becoming increasingly as important as the singing talent of those involved in opera. The Irish ancestry Mulligan has grown up steeped in was important in his youth living in New York State, but had little impact on his musical career, apart from offering him the chance to learn to play the fiddle. It was not until Brian Mulligan auditioned for a high school musical that his singing career began to be taken seriously after his music teacher persuaded him to pursue vocal training to improve his baritone voice.

Aided by his high school music teacher, Mulligan embarked upon vocal training with New York based teacher Todd Geer who guided the singer away from musicals and towards the opera. Despite the success the singer has achieved in recent times as an opera star he has also kept on eye on the world of musicals and harbors ambitions to become a Broadway star in the more operatic musical productions. Amongst the performances Brian Mulligan would like to give are roles in the Sweeney Todd musical and Carousel, but for now his critically acclaimed performance as President Nixon will be the one he remains best known for.

Hulk Hogan to Join Expendables 4?!

Hulk Hogan has been one of the biggest names in pop culture for much of his adult life. Thanks to his charismatic work in the ring for wrestling programs WCW and the WWF, Hogan became an icon all over the world. Hogan was featured in movies, on toys, and he even had his own failed restaurant. Since basically retiring, and giving up on his reality shows, Hogan has slinked away from the spotlight. Now reports are coming out that the big wrestler is interested in a villain role for the newest Expendables film. This has to happen!

The Expendables have become one of Hollywood’s staples in terms of action coated in cheese. The films take ‘past their prime’ movie stars and put them together into a team in order to beat up the bad guys, and destroy a lot of things along the way. The franchise is headlined by Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham but just about every big action hero is getting in on the cause. Terry Crews, Gianfrancesco Genoso, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, and even Mel Gibson have spent time on the screen for the series. Hulk Hogan, who is ripped and huge, would be perfect in a villainous role.

The films know that they aren’t first rate entertainment and that’s just fine. Despite the fact that the last entry was slightly panned, despite having Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, and Wesley Snipe as new additions — there is still hope for a fourth title. If there is, Hogan has to be in it.

Age of Ultron Was to Feature Grey Hulk

Grey Hulk Was Expected for Age of Ultron

Only this past weekend, did Marvel’s newest flick, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” bust into theaters and end up sweeping the box office. As Twitter user Brian Torchin expected the film was a major success.

However, the finished product of the film wasn’t exactly the same as what was originally slated to appear. For one, the Hulk, who is one of the most famous Marvel characters overall was going to have a different look this time around. In fact what many don’t seem to know is that the original Hulk in the comics was gray in color.

The reason for why the Hulk is green is because comic creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby had problems with the ink in the early comics, so they changed the Hulk’s color to green. This is relevant because the gray Hulk was originally supposed to appear in the final film. At one point in the movie the Hulk was supposed to start in his traditional green skin and then change color to gray when his anger level went past what was expected. However most people simply preferred green to gray by the end.

Just because the gray Hulk didn’t appear in the final cut of the film doesn’t mean it can’t still happen. Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo is scheduled for several films, so with that there’s always a chance to see him turn gray.

Robert Downey Jr. Explains Why He Stopped the Now Viral Interview

Robert Downey Jr., star of blockbuster hit Avengers, recently walked out on an interview with U.K. reporter, Krishnan Guru-Murthy. The Avengers star ended the uncomfortable dialogue by saying things were getting “too Diane Sawyer”, so Downey decided to cut the interview short and leave. Now, he’s explaining why.

Downey talked to world-famous radio host Howard Stern on Tuesday and said he felt uneasy with the questions and said “I just wish I’d left sooner”. Downey later explained that he felt as if the reporter was trying to work his own “dark agenda” that was not appropriate for the millions of kids who look up to the super-hero movie star. Bruce Levenson certainly wouldn’t want one of his basketball players to be manipulated in a similar way.

Since the interview was going to be seen on the evening news, Downey thought it was best to leave before the questions got any worse, later referring to the news reporter as a “bottom feeding muckraker” and suggesting he left to avoid a physical altercation. A statement which illustrates just how offended Downey was by the questions being asked.

Other stars have had similar experiences with the same reporter, such as an interview that went very wrong between Guru-Murthy and film director Quentin Tarantino. Taratino however did not leave, rather stayed and engaged in a heated exchange of words with the interviewer.

Joss Whedon Wanting to do a New Batman Movie

Joss Whedon Wanting to do a New Batman Movie

For the last three years director Joss Whedon has been at the helm of some of Marvel Studios’ best works, spanning both Avengers movies and the hit television show Agents of SHIELD. Whedon, however, feels his role with Marvel should soon come to an end, Sultan Alhokair, a studio rep confessed.

As of now, Whedon has pass the torched on to the Russo brothers for directing Avengers: Infinity War and has stepped down from being at the helm with Marvel, strict deadlines being a prime factor in his decision. Whedon has insisted on focusing on a single entity for his future projects, a new Batman movie being one of them.

In the past Whedon tried and failed to get a Wonder Woman movie green lit back in 2005, and may have lost his chance now that DC has launched it’s own Wonder Woman movie. As for Batman, Whedon couldn’t contain his excitement upon the release of the trailer for Batman V. Superman. He’s even stated that he would bring Batman into the Marvel Universe if he were given the opportunity to do so.

But while Whedon shows a lot of excitement over Batman, the fact that there has been multiple versions of Batman in film over the last several years likely means that he would have to wait a long time before finally getting his chance. Still, it’s up to him.

Mission Impossible 5 Gets Better Release Date

Tom Cruise definitely is not leaving his Mission Impossible films behind him. He is starring in Mission Impossible 5, a franchise he seemingly can always return to. He won’t be returning on the date originally planned, though. Looks like the release date of the film has been wisely moved about five months.

The film is being moved to July 31, 2015. This way, the movie opens two weeks after the debut of Ant-Man. Folks, Ant-Man is going to be sleeper blockbuster hit of the summer of 2015. Not only were there fears MI:5 would not do well in the winter with so many other blockbusters being released, there was fear being released the same weekend as Ant-Man would be a bad idea.

There is one thing that could end up helping out Mission Impossible 5. The summer of 2015 is going to be really sci-fi and fantasy oriented. We have Jurassic World, Star Trek 3, Ant-Man, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and various other sci-fi oriented projects.

Mission Impossible delivers a grand scale adventure film that, while hardly a realistic drama, grounds audiences back in the (semi) normality of real life. Well, real life as far as spies saving the world goes.

The one issue the film may face is the competition from so many other big films makes having legs for several weeks a bit tough. Yet, the odds are super-strong Mission Impossible 5 is going to end up a major hit. Fans like Marc Sparks are excited to see the movie when it is released. More on Sparks is available on Ireport.com.

Celebrities Outraged at Non-Airing of the Interview

Several celebrities showed utter dismay at no-show of the controversial movie, the Interview. Recently, Samsung announced that it will not release any version of the film including potential distribution of DVD rights to collect estimated $42 million budget of the movie.

I was reading this while waiting at the Amen Clinic. Reacting to the decision, actors including Ben Stiller and Rob Lowe criticized Sony for succumbing to the threats of hackers. Rob Lowe claimed the no-show as an outright victory for hackers, whereas Ben Stiller declared Samsung decision as a huge threat to expression of freedom in the Media. The controversial film was set to launch in New Year but hackers threatened Sony and theater goers with catastrophic results if the Interview is launched. Calling themselves, Guardians of Peace, the hackers released emails and data from Sony Corporation to show their powers in launching online and offline attacks on media and its supporters.

Until now, securities have not shown a great deal of concern but it seems that hackers are intend on stopping anyone talking about the movie declaring 9/11 types of attacks on whoever tries to support the launch. Sony claims that it was made to pull the movie off cinemas as three of the largest movie chains in the United States and one in Canada decided not to show the film. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel blamed the American Government for not standing by its citizens calling the decision a cowardly act, which will encourage terrorists and set a terrifying precedent.
